I have spent a lifetime pursuing the things I love, all of which are in some way or another connected to language.
During my three years as a PhD candidate in Education and teaching academic writing to undergraduate students, I discovered my true calling - editing. So, these days I like nothing more than to work closely with clients to provide a personalised and meticulous copyediting and/or proofreading service - one that will lift their writing to the highest level of clarity and ensure it is error free.
I love to write too, of course, and am happiest when reporting and writing feature articles and arts reviews, especially about music. For leisure, I broadcast a weekly classical music program on my local community radio station and I am currently writing a book about iconic Australian artist Pro Hart.
I have an honors degree in Education and studied postgraduate Journalism, and my working life is now divided between freelance editing, Primary school teaching and newspaper journalism. I worked, studied and researched in the field of health and medicine for over 20 years and hold an A.MusTCL in Music.
